The R-Studio T80+license applies to:

Software Introduction

The license period starts from the date of license activation. When it expires, it may be extended; Either immediately, or after a period of time. When a DIY or semi professional file recovery program creates a drive image for a faulty drive, it will proceed in order. This means that it reads the drive from beginning to end in one go through a set of consecutive drive sectors (called sector blocks). When the program encounters a bad or slow sector, it still attempts to fully read that area, ultimately resulting in complete loss of data in that area. To avoid this situation, many programs automatically switch to reading a single sector. This method greatly reduces the reading speed, although this dense reading from poor sectors may seriously damage the driving surface, magnetic head, and other driving mechanical devices. Therefore, the drive may crash before the program starts reading data from a good portion of the drive.

The R-Studio T80+can use different imaging methods: multi-channel imaging. It first attempts to retrieve data from the good parts of the drive, leaving bad and slow areas for future use. When R-Studio T80+encounters a bad or slow sector block, it discards it and jumps to another area until it finds an area without a bad or slow sector. Then it continues to read the data until it encounters another bad or slow block, and then repeats the process. After reading all the good areas, the program starts reading data from slow and bad sectors. This method can maximize the amount of data that can be recovered from a faulty drive.
